I love this music! I am interested in the history and personalities involved in its creation.
Many of the early jazz pioneers are no longer with us, but there are still musicians who carry on the traditions. Some have connections with jazz history, some in various parts of the world, and they have stories to tell. These are the people we plan to interview.
I am interested in documenting the thoughts and ideas of musicians who have been deeply involved in playing this music. I want to know who influenced them and how they learnt to play the music. Some are semi-pro and some have made a career out of this music. Many are well known names...read more
